The Éire Óg Golf Society hosts a night at the races: eight races of live wind-up horse racing in the clubhouse, with the horses wound down the track by club volunteers on the night. Buy a horse for £10 and name it, or sponsor a race for £50. Free entry on the night. Entertainment afterwards with DJ Kieran Corr.

Every horse and race sponsorship goes straight to the Éire Óg Golf Society, supporting its outings, competitions and prizes through the year. Members, families, friends and local businesses are all welcome.
How it works
Pick a horse in any of the eight races: £10 a horse
Give your horse a name and add your name as owner
On the night, club volunteers wind your horse down the track while the crowd cheers it home, racing under the name you gave it
Local businesses can sponsor a whole race for £50, and the race is named after them
Prefer to pay in cash?You can also leave your money behind the bar in the clubhouse to buy a horse. Just give your horse’s name and your name with it.
